This club is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the general public train their dogs to be good citizens.  It focuses on promoting responsible dog ownership and participation in activities with dogs.

     We offer classes in conformation, obedience, agility, tracking rally and
puppy kindergarten.   We
ask that all dogs have
proof they are current
on all shots.  Your dog
does not have to be AKC registered to participate
in classes. 

Classes are held
Wednesdays at the W Jordan Armory 7602 Airport Rd West Jordan across from Airport #2 - see the classes page for a map.

We are an AKC registered
club that puts on 6 shows yearly.  We have agility, obedience and rally at our shows.  We also do tracking
test in the spring and fall.  Please watch events for upcoming shows.

 

 The members of our club are people who:

*enjoy promoting and participating in dog-related activities

*are proud to help the club educate the public about responsible dog ownership.

*love participating in activities with their dogs

*realize that, from the other club members, there is literally an unlimited amount of experience and information about dogs that can be tapped

*like the social aspect of just getting together with other dog owners and speaking dogese!

The Great Salt Lake Dog Training Club meets the  4th Monday of each month   
(except December)
at 7:30 pm at the

Columbus Center

There is additional parking in back of the building.  If you enter through the back doors our meeting room is in the front of the building by the library.  We are an informal club so just come on in and join us.

 

The yearly club dues for the club is $10 for the first person, then $5 per family member after that with a maximum of $20.00 per family.  You do not have to have an AKC registered dog to be a member of the club.
